SIGEP China 2025 in Shenzhen concluded successfully, Highlighting Innovation and Growth

From April 24 to 26, 2025, SIGEP China 2025 came to a successful close at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre (Futian). This year attracted 31,428 visitors from 52 countries and regions, marking a 15% increase in total attendance and a significant 37% rise in international trade visitors compared to last year. In conjunction with this event, Anuga Select China 2025, powered by Anuga, also took place as an international exhibition for the F&B sector.

SIGEP WORLD, the renowned global event for foodservice excellence, is proudly organized by Italian Exhibition Group, a leading European entity with over 70 years of experience in curating world-class expos and conferences.For nearly five decades, SIGEP has been a key gateway to the latest trends, insights, and future visions within the foodservice industry. Now entering its third year, SIGEP China represents the heart of SIGEP's presence in China.

This year, SIGEP China welcomed the inaugural participation of the Italian National Pavilion and the Neapolitan Pizza Association, marking a significant milestone in its internationalization process. Aligning closely with the development strategy of SIGEP, SIGEP China has strategically expanded its product categories with a dedicated pizza category. Not only does this provide professional visitors with a richer array of industry solutions, but it also positions the exhibition as the must-attend annual event for the foodservice sector in Southern China.

Over three dynamic days, a series of internationally influential industry competitions were successfully held, including the 2nd Gelato World Cup (China selection), the Juniores Pastry World Cup (China selection), the 2025 CTI Brewing for Fun and the 2025 CTI Future Brew Coffee Mixology Championship. During the international competitions, top industry experts and highly competitive young talents gathered to showcase spectacular displays of skills and innovation. Their performances not only created a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds but also infused the industry with new energy and inspiration.

The Gelato World Cup, established in 2003, has successfully held over ten editions to date. This year marks the second edition of the Gelato World Cup (China Selection). The competition saw a record number of participants. After an exciting competition, contestant Jiang Jie will represent China in the Gelato Festival World Master contest. For the first time, this year's exhibition introduced the Juniores Pastry World Cup (China Selection). The Juniores Pastry World Cup is an individual competition for pastry chefs under the age of 26, aiming to provide an educational platform for them to test their skills, gain inspiration, and launch a successful career. This year's competition was themed around "Wonderland Garden." Young pastry chefs from across China gathered and competed fiercely. After a rigorous selection process, contestants Wang Qiya and Qu Jian stood out for their exceptional skills, creativity, and perfect interpretation of the theme. They won the China Selection and will represent China at the global finals, showcasing the outstanding skills and unique charm of China's young generation of pastry chefs to the world. SIGEP China 2025 once again partnered with Coffee T&I to launch two major coffee competitions— CTI Future Brew Coffee Mixology Championship and CTI Brewing For Fun. The CTI Future Brew Coffee Mixology Championship, making its debut at SIGEP China, provided baristas with a platform to showcase their talent and explore new opportunities, setting trends for future coffee shop menus and "hit" products in China. The CTI Brewing For Fun, centered around the theme "The Most Enjoyable Coffee Tastes the Best", attracted coffee professionals and enthusiasts alike, encouraging them to explore the joy of coffee brewing together.
